The NFL Players Association - San Diego Chapter held it's annual Celebrity Golf Event - August 28th, at Maderas Golf Club.

The San Diego Chapter of the NFL Players Association hosted a VIP Reception on Saturday with 150 in attendance, the Dinner honoring the legendary Sid Gillman was held on Sunday, August 27th, at the Doubletree Hotel, Mission Valley and over 400 people were in attendance. With members of the 1963 Championship team in attendance Ernie Ladd, Jack Kemp, Paul Lowe, Paul McGuire and many others including Coach Don Corell.

The San Diego Chapter of the NFLPA supporting local charities like the Neighborhood House and SAY - Social Advocates for Youth. The San Diego Chapter of the NFL Players Association hosted a Celebrity Charity Art and Sports Auction and shot its TV commercial for the Annual Golf Tournament June 1st and 2nd.
