· CHARITY AUCTlON The San Diego Chapter of the NFL Players Association is hosting a celebrity charity art and sports auction from 5-8 p.m. next Friday at the First National Bank Building on Silverado Street in La Jolla. Proceeds go to various charities. More than 60 professional athletes and artists will be on hand. Items will include an original oil painting of Tony Gwynn by former Padres player Gene Locklear..
