News and What's New Press Release May 20, 2000 Charity Art & Sports Auction hosted by the San Diego Chapter of the NFL Players Association (Retired) Friday, June 2nd the San Diego Chapter of the NFL Players Association will host a Celebrity Charity Art and Sports Auction. The proceeds will benefit the Foundations designated youth charities, the Neighborhood House Association and SAY. Professional Athletes and Artist will be on hand to celebrate the importance of our youth. A one of kind original oil painting of Padre Tony Gwynn by former Padre Gene Locklear, will be on hand. You can preview the Tony Gwynn painting at the First National Bank Building, in La Jolla from Monday, May 22 through Friday, June 2nd. Sponsors include the new artist internet company - Artichoke.com which is providing the Artists and much of the art work. eSportsInstruction.com and eAthleteSpeaker are working with the Athletes and Coaches. Sports II will be providing some very unique baseball artifacts. There will be loads of great art and some wonderful raffle prizes will be given away by local businesses.
