Class: Height/Weight: Junior 5-8 / 170 Hometown: Position: Compton RB/KR High School: Birthday: Wallis Annenberg High 02/27/93 2010 Young will finish his senior year at Wallis Annenberg high school. 2009 Young played RB and KR for his junior year he led the team with 24 touchdowns in a single season. He is a leader on and off the field. He started RB every game for the 2009 season and average 2 touchdowns per game. Mid-season Anthony was involved in tragic car accident, in which he suffered chest injury and had trouble concentrating. However he was able to overcome injury and the very next game when he broke an Annenberg record as an junior and ran for over a 1000 yards. At the end of the year he was awarded offensive player of the year.
2008 Young played RB for his sophomore year. He had 15 touchdowns as a back up RB. He had his own style of running that had never been introduced at Wallis Annenberg high school. He had 5 touchdowns from kick off returns and punt returns alone. In addition too his unique running style he had over 400 yards that season. Finally at the end of the season he awarded most improved. Other Young maintained a 3.6 GPA during his junior year. Along with football Anthony Young also played basketball starting point guard. Also he received 1st team all point guard for his sophomore and junior year. He was the only freshman at Wallis Annenberg high school to play varsity basketball and football.
